Danaher's conservative 2027 forecast sets a 'floor' under new CEO
DHR•Danaher shares rose more than 4% after new CEO Julie Sawyer Montgomery delivered her first quarterly results and set a 2027 core growth baseline of 4% to 5%, excluding respiratory. At least nine brokerages raised their price targets.
1. A conservative baseline
Analysts described Danaher's 2027 growth target as a conservative starting point. Jefferies said the 4% to 5% target “puts a floor in with multiple upside levers,” while Guggenheim called it a necessary reset of expectations under the new CEO.
