Daré Bioscience launched Flora Sync LF5 vaginal probiotic capsule at $49 per box, marking its first direct-to-consumer revenue product. The company also advanced its pipeline with a $10 million ARPA-H-funded Phase 2 HPV trial targeting topline data in 2027 and reported positive interim results in its Phase 3 Ovaprene intravaginal contraceptive study.
Daré Bioscience has commenced commercial sales of Flora Sync LF5, a vaginal probiotic capsule formulated with Limosilactobacillus fermentum LF5 and supported by over 30 years of research. The product is available without prescription at $49 per box (six capsules, two-course) via the DARE Health Hub. This launch represents the company’s first consumer product revenue and its shift from a pure development-stage biotech to a women’s health company with direct-to-consumer sales.
Daré Bioscience’s Phase 2 study of its DARE-HPV pharmacologic treatment is backed by a $10 million grant from ARPA-H, with topline data expected in 2027. The company also reported positive interim safety and efficacy from its Phase 3 Ovaprene monthly intravaginal contraceptive trial, which continues per Data Safety Monitoring Board recommendations. Additionally, the DARE to PLAY sildenafil cream is slated for summer dispensing through the same direct platform.
