DarkHorse signs 50 MW power contract for Hopkinsville superintelligence factory
DRK•DarkHorse Technologies signed a contract for up to 50 MW with Hopkinsville Electric System for a planned factory in Kentucky, bringing its contracted capacity in the TVA region to about 100 MW. The 10-year initial contract depends on permits and construction.
1. Power contract
DarkHorse Technologies signed a contract for up to 50 MW of power with Hopkinsville Electric System for its planned superintelligence factory in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. The deal brings DarkHorse’s contracted capacity in the TVA region to about 100 MW and its Hopkinsville commitments to about 65 MW across two sites.
2. Substation plans
DarkHorse will fund a new 65 MW substation on TVA’s 161 kV system, which Hopkinsville Electric System will own and operate. The contract has a 10-year initial term with automatic five-year renewals; service depends on permits and construction.
