Datacentrex begins energizing 500 Scrypt miners, targets 21% hashrate increase to 52.2 TH/s
DTCX•Datacentrex began installing and energizing more than 500 prepaid Scrypt miners, with initial units online. Full energization is expected to increase online hashrate about 21% to 52.2 TH/s from 43.2 TH/s and deployed power capacity to about 14 MW from 12.5 MW.
1. Miner deployment underway
Datacentrex began installing and energizing more than 500 prepaid ElphaPex DG2 Scrypt ASIC miners, and initial units are online. Full energization is expected to add about 9.0 TH/s of hashrate and raise deployed power capacity to about 14 MW from 12.5 MW. The company said its installed fleet now exceeds 3,500 Scrypt ASIC miners across four U.S. colocation facilities.
