Datadog held its 2Q26 earnings call with CEO Olivier Pomel, CFO David Obstler, SVP Yuka Broderick, and analysts participating.
Revenue was USD 1.12 billion, up 36% y/y; free cash flow was USD 279 million, with a 25% margin.
The company said it had 33,400 customers, including 4,720 with ARR ≥ USD 100,000.
Guidance reflects a usage reduction at its largest customer despite a renewal; management said it had “fully de-risked” the outlook for that account.
The 3Q revenue view was USD 1.135-1.145 billion; the FY2026 revenue view was USD 4.45-4.47 billion; and the FY operating income view was USD 1.01-1.03 billion.
Management highlighted accelerating non-AI customer growth to the high-20s% y/y and cited surging AI-related activity, including MCP tool calls up 22x since Q4 2025.
