DVADVA

DaVita surpassed its previous five-year ESG targets by conserving 468 million gallons of water and achieving 100% renewable energy use, while educating over 300,000 people through Kidney Smart classes. It now commits to support 40,000 kidney transplants, empower 150,000 patients with treatment education and advance 2,000 nurses by 2030.

1. ESG Track Record and New Framework

DaVita has exceeded its prior five-year ESG goals, conserving 468 million gallons of water and achieving 100% renewable energy use across global operations. Guided by its Trilogy of Care—Caring for Our Patients, Caring for Each Other and Caring for Our World—the company has launched a 2030 Community Care framework focused on patient outcomes, teammate development and environmental resilience.

2. Health and Education Targets

By 2030, DaVita aims to support 40,000 kidney transplants, reduce avoidable hospitalizations and educate 150,000 patients on treatment modalities. The company will also increase home dialysis and transplant access for underserved populations to narrow health disparities.

3. Economic Mobility and Teammate Engagement

In 2025, DaVita logged over 218,000 volunteer service hours, achieved an 85% teammate engagement score and supported more than 400 teammates in pursuing advanced nursing degrees. The 2030 commitments include maintaining at least an 80% engagement score annually, advancing 2,000 nurses through development programs and contributing 300,000 hours of community service.

4. Strengthening Communities and Environmental Resilience

Having already powered operations with 100% renewable energy and conserved 468 million gallons of water, DaVita plans to annually sustain renewable operations, expand water-saving practices in every country and invest in climate resilience. The company also aims to deliver philanthropic support to 400,000 people by 2030.
