GE HealthCare, C.H. Robinson, Cenovus and other companies announced acquisitions or asset sales, including Schneider Electric’s agreement to buy PTC in a deal valuing its equity at about $22.6 billion.
GE HealthCare said it would buy privately held Sofie Biosciences for $945 million in cash to strengthen its ability to manufacture and distribute PET imaging drugs. C.H. Robinson agreed to buy RXO for $5.8 billion in a stock-and-cash transaction, while Cenovus agreed to buy Athabasca Oil for C$5.7 billion in cash and stock.
Schneider Electric agreed to buy PTC in an all-cash deal valuing the U.S. software company’s equity at about $22.6 billion, its biggest deal ever, it said. Carlsberg agreed to buy PepsiCo’s bottlers in Georgia and Armenia, expanding its partnership with the U.S. group.
ConocoPhillips is reviewing an unsolicited offer for its North Sea business but has not reached a decision, executive chair Ryan Lance said. AkzoNobel agreed to sell its Southeast Asian decorative paints business to Nippon Paint for $1.35 billion; BT Group acquired TalkTalk’s consumer and wholesale businesses out of administration; and Suncor Energy agreed to sell interests in three offshore oil assets to Ithaca Energy for C$1.2 billion in upfront cash.
