Decart's $300m Funding Round Strengthens AWS Integration with Trainium Chips

AI infrastructure lab Decart raised $300m in a funding round led by Radical Ventures, bringing total capital to over $450m from investors including Amazon, Nvidia, Sequoia, Adobe Ventures and Andrej Karpathy. Amazon Web Services is a strategic partner, integrating Decart’s DOS 2.0 platform with Trainium chips for low-latency AI.

1. Funding Round Details

Decart secured $300m in a new funding round led by Radical Ventures, raising its total funding to over $450m. New and existing backers include Amazon, Nvidia, Sequoia Capital, Adobe Ventures and individual investors such as Andrej Karpathy and Michael Eisner.

2. AWS Strategic Partnership

Amazon Web Services is participating as a strategic partner, integrating Decart’s infrastructure with AWS Trainium chips to enable real-time world models at scale. Commercial agreements are underway to deploy Decart’s low-latency AI systems across AWS’s enterprise customer base.

3. Product Launches and Roadmap

Alongside the funding announcement, Decart launched DOS 2.0 and plans to update its Lucy and Oasis world models in the coming weeks. Lucy offers immersive interactive experiences under 30ms response times, while Oasis provides real-time physical environment simulation ahead of the Oasis 3 release.
