The permit moves the deep-borehole nuclear waste disposal demonstration from engineering into construction, field work, drilling and subsurface testing. Project partners include Halliburton, Amentum, NAC International, Occlusion Nuclear Solutions and the Deep Borehole Demonstration Center.
