Del Monte Corporation posted GAAP diluted EPS of USD 0.44 for the fiscal second quarter, with net income attributable to shareholders of USD 21.2 million.
Net sales rose to USD 1.22 billion, lifted by prepared foods following the March acquisition of Del Monte Foods.
GAAP operating income fell to USD 33.5 million on higher asset impairment charges and acquisition-related expenses; gross margin narrowed to 9.9%.
Balance sheet and company update
Long-term debt climbed to USD 414.6 million at quarter-end from USD 173 million at the end of 2025, reflecting the Del Monte Foods deal.
Chairman and CEO Mohammad Abu-Ghazaleh said the company has rebranded as Del Monte Corporation and has stabilized the newly acquired Foods Division.
