Dell Technologies names Christopher Garcia chief legal officer, effective Feb. 1, 2027
DELL•Dell Technologies appointed Christopher Garcia chief legal officer, effective Feb. 1, 2027, succeeding Richard Rothberg. Garcia has served as senior vice president, corporate legal, since 2022; Rothberg will provide transition assistance through April 30, 2027.
1. Leadership transition
Dell Technologies appointed Christopher Garcia chief legal officer on Oct. 20, 2026, with the appointment taking effect Feb. 1, 2027. Garcia will become executive vice president, general counsel and secretary. Rothberg notified the company of his retirement on Oct. 19 and will provide transitional assistance through April 30, 2027.
