Denison Mines has begun a 2,500m diamond drilling phase at the Fox Lake Trail target, kicking off a planned 7,500m 2026 exploration campaign at the Wheeler North uranium JV in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin. The JV is operated by Denison, which holds 49% and can earn 70% by investing C$25m.

Denison Mines has commenced a 2,500m winter diamond drilling programme at the Fox Lake Trail target within the Wheeler North joint venture, marking the start of a 7,500m campaign across eight claims in Saskatchewan’s eastern Athabasca Basin.
2. JV Structure and Earn-in Terms
Denison operates the JV with Skyharbour Resources, holding 49% and funding the entire programme under a strategic partnership that allows Denison to earn up to 70% by committing C$25m via phased exploration investments and payments.
3. Target Areas and Geology
Key targets FLT, Fork and Sphinx were identified through recent geophysical surveys, with Fork notable for the RSL24-02 discovery hole that intersected 3% triuranium octoxide over 0.5m at the unconformity, highlighting high-grade uranium potential.
