Cosa Resources has begun a 6,000-metre, 15-hole drill program at the Murphy Lake North JV, testing Cyclone trend extensions open for 600 metres in both directions. Denison Mines will fund 30% of the campaign to maintain its 30% interest in the project.
Cosa Resources has launched its largest-ever drill program at the Murphy Lake North joint venture, comprising approximately 6,000 metres of drilling across 15 holes. The campaign will focus on extensions of the Cyclone uranium trend, which remains open along strike for 600 metres in both directions and lies just 265 metres below surface.
Winter drilling intersected multiple mineralized intervals, including up to 1.7% U₃O₈ over 0.5 metres and broader zones grading 0.55% U₃O₈ over 5 metres. Summer holes on section 3200E will target major faults at the unconformity, with progressive step-outs and additional targets 600 metres east and west based on reinterpretation of 2025–2026 results.
Denison Mines holds a 30% stake in the project and is contributing its pro rata share of exploration funding to maintain interest. This program enhances Denison’s exposure to high-grade Athabasca Basin uranium prospects and could bolster its resource pipeline pending positive assay results.
