Denison Mines JV Hits 5m Radioactive Zone at 260m Depth, 600m Strike

DNNDNN

Cosa Resources and Denison Mines’ Murphy Lake North JV intersected anomalous radioactivity in three of five winter 2026 drill holes, including a 5.0-metre continuous interval between 306.5m and 313.5m with counts exceeding 1,000 cps. Mineralization remains open over at least 600m of strike in a >100m-wide structural corridor.

1. Joint Venture Details

The Murphy Lake North joint venture is held by Cosa Resources (70% operator) and Denison Mines (30%), located 3 kilometres east of the Hurricane deposit in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin.

2. Winter 2026 Drilling Results

Five holes totaling 2,015 metres were completed this winter, with three holes—MLN26-013, MLN26-014 and MLN26-016—intersecting anomalous radioactivity up to >13,000 cps, including a 5.0-metre interval of continuous counts >1,000 cps between 306.5m and 313.5m downhole.

3. Structural and Mineralization Insights

Drilling defined a >100-metre-wide Cyclone structural corridor featuring broad hydrothermal alteration and faulting; mineralization remains open for at least 600 metres of strike to both east and west and at shallow vertical depths of approximately 260 metres.

4. Outlook and Next Steps

Assays are pending to confirm uranium grades and Cosa plans follow-up drilling in summer 2026 to expand the mineralized footprint; positive results could enhance Denison Mines’ resource base and project valuation.
