Dentsply Sirona Appoints 30-Year Healthcare Banker and 25-Year CFO to Board
On Feb. 27, Dentsply Sirona added James D. Forbes to its Compensation & Human Capital Committee and Brian P. McKeon to its Audit & Finance and Science & Technology Committees. Forbes’s 30 years in healthcare investment banking and McKeon’s 25 years as a CFO will bolster the company’s Return-to-Growth plan.

Dentsply Sirona appointed James D. Forbes and Brian P. McKeon to its Board of Directors effective February 27, 2026. Forbes will join the Compensation & Human Capital Committee, and McKeon will join both the Audit & Finance and Science & Technology Committees.
2. Directors’ Expertise
Forbes brings over 30 years of healthcare investment banking experience, having served as Vice Chairman of Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley and in senior roles at UBS and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. McKeon contributes 25 years as a public-company CFO, most recently serving as Executive Vice President, CFO and Treasurer at IDEXX Laboratories, where he led multi-year growth and market expansion.
3. Board Refreshment
These appointments follow the recent addition of dental industry expert Don Zurbay and precede the retirement of long-serving director Willie Deese, who will not stand for re-election at the annual shareholders’ meeting. The moves aim to strengthen strategic oversight and financial governance as the company executes its Return-to-Growth plan.
