Dentsply Sirona renewed its US dental technology distribution agreement with Patterson Dental, covering its CEREC, Primescan and Orthophos systems. It also expanded its partnership with Benco Dental to include its full digital dentistry portfolio, adding CEREC blocks, Primescan 2 scanners and Axeos imaging in three CenterPoint showrooms.

1. Patterson Dental Renews Distribution Agreement

On January 14, 2026, Dentsply Sirona and Patterson Dental Holdings extended their U.S. dental technology distribution partnership for an additional five years, marking more than three decades of collaboration. Under the renewed agreement, Patterson’s network of over 80 field sales representatives and 25 service technicians will continue to offer Dentsply Sirona’s full portfolio of digital solutions—the CEREC chairside milling system, Primescan intraoral scanners, Axeos and Orthophos extraoral imaging systems—supported by a centralized parts depot in Charlotte, North Carolina. The renewal commits both companies to joint investment of $15 million over the next 24 months for training programs, software integration initiatives and co-branded marketing campaigns aimed at accelerating the installed base’s migration to fully connected workflows. Investors should note that Patterson Dental contributes roughly 18% of Dentsply Sirona’s U.S. technology equipment revenue, highlighting the strategic importance of maintaining and expanding this channel amid ongoing digital transformation in dental practices.

2. Benco Dental Expands Technology Partnership

Effective January 13, 2026, Benco Dental will begin offering Dentsply Sirona’s complete suite of digital dentistry solutions—adding to its existing consumables distribution—through three CenterPoint showrooms located in Los Angeles, Dallas and the New York–Philadelphia corridor. The expanded agreement includes the deployment of six interactive demonstration bays per showroom, staffed by a combined team of 12 certified equipment specialists. Dentsply Sirona and Benco plan a joint rollout of a cloud-based practice management integration by mid-2026, backed by a $4 million investment in showroom build-outs and digital training labs. Benco Dental, which accounts for approximately 12% of Dentsply Sirona’s consumables revenue in North America, is positioned to accelerate equipment adoption among its 25,000 active dental customers. Management projects that combining technology sales with Benco’s consumables business could boost Dentsply Sirona’s U.S. technology segment growth rate by 200 basis points in fiscal 2026.
