Deutsche Bank finances AUD 430 million debt package for Foresight’s Kondinin Wind Farm in Australia
DB•Deutsche Bank backed financial close of an AUD 430 million senior debt package for the 130-MW Kondinin Wind Farm in Western Australia. The project targets power equivalent to up to 70,000 homes.
1. Financing structure
The package includes up to AUD 430 million in construction and term financing, an AUD 86 million contingent instrument facility and an AUD 10 million debt service reserve facility. Deutsche Bank also provided interest-rate risk management through swaps as the project moves from development into construction.
