DB•Deutsche Bank said third-quarter 2026 pretax profit rose 8% to EUR 2.6 billion as revenue increased 4% to EUR 8.3 billion. Credit loss provisions reached EUR 501 million.
Deutsche Bank linked its 8% increase in third-quarter 2026 pretax profit to higher revenue, which rose 4% to EUR 8.3 billion, supported by net interest income and commission and fee income. Corporate Bank revenue increased 9% on higher business volumes, while Private Bank revenue grew 8%, supported by fees and net interest income.
Expenses remained flat as efficiencies largely offset incremental investments, improving the cost-to-income ratio to 62.4%. Credit loss provisions reached EUR 501 million, reflecting commercial real estate de-risking and an idiosyncratic Corporate Bank event in Asia.
