Deutsche Bank reported record second-quarter post-tax profit of EUR 1.9 billion.
The bank said the EU carve-out had a negative impact of EUR 496 million on profit for the quarter, compared with a EUR 383 million hit a year earlier.
Deutsche Bank also flagged a roughly 53-basis-point drag on its CET1 capital ratio from the EU carve-out as of June 30, 2026, versus about 75 basis points a year earlier.
