Deutsche Bank teams up with Google Cloud on Gemini Enterprise financial research AI agent

Deutsche Bank partnered with Google Cloud as a design partner for its Financial Research Agent, part of Gemini Enterprise for Financial Services.

The tool targets regulated banking workflows, aiming to cut manual research time and produce auditable, source-linked outputs for client decision-making.

Initial rollout is planned in the corporate bank, with potential expansion to other divisions as the bank scales responsible AI use.

Deutsche Bank contributed requirements on security, governance, data residency, access controls, encryption, audit logging, and compliance.

Google Cloud plans to offer the Financial Research Agent to other financial institutions through the Gemini Enterprise for Financial Services suite.
