Shares rise after raised forecast
Shares of medical device maker Dexcom rose 7.6% to $80.21 in premarket trading after the company on Thursday raised its annual revenue forecast on sustained demand for its continuous glucose monitors, devices that track blood sugar levels without finger-prick tests.
Updated full-year outlook and quarterly results
Dexcom now sees fiscal 2026 revenue of $5.18 billion to $5.25 billion, compared with its prior forecast of $5.16 billion to $5.25 billion. Analysts expect $5.22 billion, according to data compiled by LSEG.
The company reported second-quarter revenue of $1.31 billion, above analysts' average estimate of $1.29 billion. It also posted adjusted profit of 70 cents per share, compared with analysts' estimate of 61 cents.
