Dexcom rises after raising annual revenue forecast

Quarterly results top estimates
Dexcom reported second-quarter revenue of $1.31 billion, above analysts' average estimate of $1.29 billion, according to data compiled by LSEG.
The company also posted adjusted profit of 70 cents per share, compared with analysts' estimate of 61 cents.
Dexcom raises full-year revenue outlook
Shares of medical device maker Dexcom rose 10% to $82.47 after the company on Thursday raised its annual revenue forecast on sustained demand for its continuous glucose monitors, devices that track blood sugar levels without finger-prick tests.
Dexcom now sees full-year revenue of $5.18 billion-$5.25 billion, versus its prior forecast of $5.16 billion-$5.25 billion. Analysts expect $5.22 billion.
