Q2 results and dividend
- Diana Shipping posted Q2 net income of USD 20.8 million, while EPS rose to USD 0.17 basic and USD 0.16 diluted.
- Time charter revenues increased 4.75% to USD 57.3 million, due to higher average charter rates, partly offset by fewer ownership days after a vessel sale.
- Six-month net income climbed to USD 49.9 million, while EPS rose to USD 0.42 basic and USD 0.41 diluted.
- The company declared a USD 0.01-per-share cash dividend for Q2, payable Sept. 11 to holders of record Aug. 21.
