Diana Shipping signs time charter for m/v Astarte at US$17,000 per day

Diana Shipping signed a time charter with Aquavita for Kamsarmax dry bulk vessel Astarte at US$17,000 a day.
The contract runs to at least Sept. 1, 2027, with an option to extend to Nov. 15, 2027; it starts Sept. 20, 2026.
The rate excludes a 4.75% third-party commission; the vessel currently earns US$12,500 a day under Propel Shipping, less 5% commission.
The minimum term is expected to generate about US$5.81 million in gross revenue.
