Digi Power X signed a non-binding LOI with Omnis Pleasants to assess interconnection and load for up to 1.3GW at Pleasants Power Station supporting AI infrastructure. It increased liquidity to US$100M as of January 2026, a 1,150% year-over-year rise, and implemented its first NVIDIA B200 GPU cluster.

1. Strategic AI Infrastructure Partnership

Digi Power X Inc. has signed a non-binding letter of intent with Omnis Pleasants LLC, owner of the 1.3-gigawatt Pleasants Power Station in West Virginia, to conduct a comprehensive load and interconnection study of up to 1.3 GW. The study will assess long-term power availability and grid connectivity to support energy-intensive artificial intelligence and high-performance computing operations. This collaboration positions Digi Power X to leverage one of the largest generation assets in the Mid-Atlantic region for its planned AI data center footprint, potentially unlocking economies of scale and ensuring uninterrupted power for next-generation computing workloads.

2. Balance Sheet Strengthens to $100 Million

As of January 2026, Digi Power X reported approximately US $100 million in cash, digital assets and deposits, up from US $8 million a year earlier, representing a 1,150 percent year-over-year increase in liquidity. The bolstered balance sheet underpins the company’s transition into AI-focused energy and data center infrastructure, providing financial flexibility for capex deployment, strategic partnerships and potential M&A opportunities in the high-performance computing sector.

3. AI Data Center Rollout and GPU Cluster Deployment

Digi Power X has commenced implementation of its ARMS 200 Tier III modular data center platform in Alabama, completing its first NVIDIA B200 GPU cluster installation and preparing to launch its GPU-as-a-Service platform, NeoCloudz, in the first quarter of 2026. The company reports that the initial cluster deployment will support real-time machine learning and large-language model training, with anticipated expansion across multiple states later this year. Additional planned IP enhancements and global distribution partnerships aim to accelerate adoption of Digi Power X’s AI infrastructure offerings.
