Disc Medicine says RESTORE-PV Phase 2 trial shows DISC-3405 cuts phlebotomy needs in polycythemia vera patients
IRON•RESTORE-PV Phase 2 results in polycythemia vera
Disc Medicine presented initial Phase 2 RESTORE-PV results for DISC-3405 in polycythemia vera at the 2026 SOHO meeting.
- Data showed improved hematocrit control, fewer phlebotomies, improved symptoms; results reflect iron-restriction effects without relying on phlebotomy.
- DISC-3405 was generally well tolerated; injection-site reactions were infrequent, mild, self-limited.
- Results will be featured in an SOHO oral presentation on Sept. 10.
- Disc expects a broader RESTORE-PV update, including initial Phase 1b sickle cell disease data, by end-2026.
