Dollar Tree FY26 Q2 diluted EPS more than doubled to $2.70; net sales rise 7% to $4.9 billion

Dollar Tree raised its fiscal 2026 adjusted EPS outlook to $7.70-$8.05.
For Q3, the company sees adjusted EPS at $0.80-$0.95.
Quarterly results
Dollar Tree posted Q2 net sales of $4.9 billion, up 7% from a year earlier; diluted EPS rose to $2.70.
Operating income more than doubled to $690 million as operating margin widened 9 percentage points to 14.1%.
Comparable-store net sales increased 3.7%, driven by a 3.3% rise in average ticket and 0.4% higher traffic.
Results included a $1.31 EPS benefit from tariff refunds; Q2 share repurchases totaled $605 million.
