Donegal Group Q2 FY26 net income rises 32.3% to $22.31 million; revenue falls 2.4% to $241.12 million

Q2 results and combined ratio improve
Donegal Group posted Q2 net income of $22.31 million, up 32.3%, as the GAAP combined ratio improved 2.1 percentage points to 95.6%.
- Net premiums earned fell 4% to $222.57 million.
- Investment income rose 15.6% to $14.49 million.
- Net investment gains more than doubled to $3.27 million, driven mainly by unrealized gains in equity securities.
