DOV posted second-quarter revenue of $2.19 billion, lower than analysts' estimates of $2.21 billion, data compiled by LSEG showed.
The company reported adjusted earnings per share of $2.74, narrowly beating estimates of $2.73.
It raised its full-year adjusted EPS forecast to $10.55-$10.75 from a prior $10.45-$10.65.
Shares fall after revenue misses estimates
Shares of industrial equipment maker Dover DOV.N fell 5.5% to $202.8 in premarket trading.
The stock was set to open at its lowest since April, if losses held.
