Dover’s Caldera division released PrimeCenter 5.0, the latest version of its wide-format intelligent job preparation and prepress workflow solution. The update delivers a unified workspace for file inspection, modification and validation before layout creation.

The new File Editor consolidates key prepress tasks such as dimension checks and cutting path validation into a single environment, eliminating tool-switching and reducing manual rework in complex applications like double-sided or multilayer printing.

Print providers can cut up to 30 minutes per job with automated nesting and optimized layouts via Layout Creator, while maintaining compatibility with major raster image processors, printers and cutting systems for diverse workflows.
