DraftKings challenges Philadelphia ordinance

DraftKings DKNG.O sued Philadelphia on Thursday to block it from enforcing a local consumer protection law, after receiving a subpoena in connection with an investigation into the sports betting company.

The complaint filed in Philadelphia federal court seeks to void a 2024 consumer protection ordinance that according to DraftKings conflicts with Pennsylvania law, including for gaming regulation.
