Draganfly establishes U.S. defense subsidiary Draganfly Defense USA
DPRO•Draganfly launched Draganfly Defense USA to expand in U.S. military, defense and national security markets. Thomas B. Modly was named chairman, and Brigadier General AJ Pasagian, USMC (Ret’d), was appointed president in August 2026.
1. New U.S. subsidiary
Draganfly launched Draganfly Defense USA, a dedicated subsidiary focused on expanding across U.S. military, defense and national security markets. The structure is intended to address domestic security and compliance requirements, including defense governance, cybersecurity, export controls and segregation of controlled technologies.
2. Leadership appointments
Thomas B. Modly was named chairman of Draganfly Defense USA and will step down from Draganfly’s parent board to take the role. Brigadier General AJ Pasagian, USMC (Ret’d), was appointed president in August 2026 to lead U.S. defense operations, growth and program execution.
