Draganfly signs an exclusive master distributor deal with ACSL to launch the Japanese SOTEN multi-mission drone in Canada from June 2026, expanding its Apex, Commander 3XL and Heavy Lift lineup. Integration enables interoperability with ACSL’s TAITEN controller and four swappable payloads—including 20MP optical and dual thermal sensors—broadening Draganfly’s service offerings.

1. Exclusive Distribution Agreement

Draganfly has entered an exclusive master distributor agreement with ACSL to bring the Japanese-built SOTEN drone to Canada. The deal grants Draganfly sole Canadian rights to market and sell SOTEN beginning in June 2026, complementing its existing Apex, Commander 3XL and Heavy Lift platforms.

2. SOTEN Platform Features

The SOTEN drone is a compact, multi-mission system featuring a secure-by-design architecture and swappable payload bays. It supports four camera modules—20MP optical, dual thermal-optical, multi-spectral and optical zoom—offering flexibility across public safety, inspection and mapping tasks.

3. Technical Integration and Market Impact

Draganfly and ACSL have integrated the SOTEN payload interfaces with Draganfly’s Apex and Commander 3XL platforms and ACSL’s TAITEN smart controller. This interoperability allows operators to manage mixed fleets under a single control system, positioning Draganfly to capture growth in Canada’s expanding commercial drone market.
