Draganfly names former acting Navy secretary Thomas Modly chairman of new US defense unit board
DPRO•Draganfly named Thomas B. Modly chairman of the board of its new U.S. defense subsidiary, Draganfly Defense USA. Modly will step down from Draganfly’s board, while retired Brigadier General AJ Pasagian was appointed subsidiary president in August 2026.

Draganfly named former Acting U.S. Navy Secretary and Under Secretary Thomas B. Modly board chairman of Draganfly Defense USA, a dedicated U.S. defense subsidiary. Modly will step down from Draganfly’s board to take the subsidiary role. Retired Brigadier General AJ Pasagian was appointed president in August 2026 to lead U.S. defense operations.
