Dragonfly Energy acquires Dakota Lithium assets for $4 million

The transaction targets specialty battery markets, and Dakota Lithium will operate as a separate brand alongside Battle Born Batteries.

Management expects a meaningful revenue contribution and EBITDA accretion in Q4 2026. Lender amendments allow near-term interest to be paid in kind.

Dragonfly Energy completed the acquisition of substantially all operating assets tied to the Dakota Lithium brand.

The purchase price totaled $4 million, including $1 million cash; the remaining consideration was paid in common stock valued at $2 per share.

Dakota Lithium generated about $12 million in net revenue in 2025, with results constrained by working-capital and inventory shortages.
