The utility is offering installment payment plans, due-date extensions and access to the Share the Light Fund, while promoting energy-efficiency solutions such as free home assessments and rebates for improvement projects.
3. Fraud Prevention Efforts
Duke expects a surge in scam reports similar to the nearly 800 calls received after the February 2025 cold snap and urges customers to learn scam recognition techniques and report fraud to law enforcement, the company and the BBB.
