Duolingo Q2 FY26 net income drops 26% to $33.16 million; revenue rises 18% to $298.45 million

Board approves share repurchase program
The board authorized a $400 million share repurchase program; repurchases totaled $70.3 million for 694,630 shares at $101.15 each.
Duolingo reports higher revenue but lower net income in Q2 FY26
Duolingo posted GAAP net income of $33.16 million, down 26% year over year, as revenue climbed 18% to $298.45 million.
GAAP operating income edged up 2% to $33.95 million, while GAAP gross margin widened 0.2 percentage points to 72.6%.
