DuPont Debuts NF270-400/34 Nanofiltration Module with 10% Energy Savings and 30% Lower Pressure Drop

DDDD

DuPont has launched its upgraded FilmTec NF270-400/34 nanofiltration elements, offering the same flux with 6–10% lower energy consumption and up to 30% lower initial pressure drop for drinking water utilities. The new design improves biofouling protection, durability and cleanability, reducing system downtime and operating costs for municipalities.

1. Launch of Upgraded Nanofiltration Element

DuPont introduced the FilmTec NF270-400/34 nanofiltration element designed for municipal and drinking water treatment. The upgrade builds on existing nanofiltration technology to deliver consistent flux at reduced energy demands.

2. Efficiency and Cost Reduction Features

Compared to prior models, the NF270-400/34 achieves 6–10% lower energy consumption and up to 30% lower initial pressure drop. Enhanced biofouling protection, durability and cleanability cut cleaning frequency, system downtime and overall operating expenses.

3. Market Reach and Application Scope

DuPont Water Solutions technologies currently purify over 50 million gallons per minute in 112 countries. The upgraded elements target municipal water utilities and are applicable to seawater desalination, industrial water users and emerging sectors like green hydrogen production.
