DuPont wins SBTi validation for 2050 net-zero emissions target
DD•DuPont secured Science Based Targets initiative validation for its goal of net-zero emissions across its value chain by 2050. In 2025, Scope 1 and 2 emissions were down 76% from 2019 levels and Scope 3 emissions were down 59% from 2020 levels.
1. Validated emissions targets
DuPont’s targets include reducing absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions 83% by 2035 from a 2019 baseline and absolute Scope 3 emissions 63% by 2035 from a 2020 baseline. Its long-term targets call for 90% reductions by 2050 from the respective baselines.
