DXC Technology has entered a multi-year agreement with If Skadeförsäkring AB, the largest Nordic property and casualty insurer, to simplify and modernize its technology estate following the acquisition of Topdanmark. This collaboration positions DXC as the primary operator of If’s mission-critical systems across multiple environments.
Under the agreement, DXC will manage thousands of compute resources across mainframe, on-premises data centers and Azure hybrid cloud platforms spanning Finland, Sweden, Denmark and the Baltics. The project includes consolidating disparate mainframe and private cloud infrastructures into Denmark-based data centers with hybrid cloud orchestration.
DXC OASIS will serve as an intelligent orchestration layer, unifying infrastructure operations across vendors and environments. Its agentic AI capabilities will automate workflows, enhance visibility and governance, and enable proactive monitoring and operational optimization.
The unified platform will reduce operational complexity, improve resilience and efficiency, and support seamless integration of Topdanmark systems. By consolidating and automating If’s technology estate, the partnership aims to deliver more stable and secure services and enhance customer experience.
