Fiscal Q2 results call and outlook

Dycom held its fiscal 2027 Q2 results call with CEO Daniel Peyovich, CFO H. Andrew DeFerrari, and IR VP Callie Tomasso.

Q2 revenue was $2.01 billion, up 45.6% year over year; adjusted EBITDA was $315.5 million, with a margin of 15.7%; adjusted EPS was $5.29.
Full-year revenue outlook was raised to $7.48 billion-$7.66 billion; Communications to $5.9 billion-$6.01 billion; and Building Systems to $1.58 billion-$1.65 billion.
Backlog reached $12.2 billion; long-haul, middle-mile, and inside-the-fence fiber backlog topped $1 billion.

Program timing and construction pipeline

Wireless program timing shifted, with about $150 million of revenue deferred from the second half into fiscal 2028; the program scope was unchanged.

BEAD construction is expected next year.
