Eagle Nuclear Engages Tensor Medium for AI-Driven SMR Optimization
LEU•Eagle Nuclear Energy engaged Tensor Medium for AI-driven reactor simulation and optimization covering modeling, materials optimization, quantum development and licensing-readiness. It holds the U.S.'s largest conventional uranium deposit—32.75 million pounds indicated and 4.98 million pounds inferred at Aurora—targeting a H2 2027 pre-feasibility study.
1. Tensor Medium Partnership
Eagle Nuclear Energy has partnered with Tensor Medium to integrate AI-driven reactor simulation and optimization into its small modular reactor program, focusing on advanced modeling, materials optimization, quantum development and licensing-readiness support.
2. Aurora Deposit Resources
The company owns the largest conventional uranium deposit in the U.S. at Aurora, with 32.75 million pounds indicated and 4.98 million pounds inferred, providing a substantial domestic fuel supply for future reactor development.
3. Integrated Nuclear Platform Strategy
Management’s strategy combines upstream uranium resources with downstream SMR technology, aiming to deliver an end-to-end nuclear energy platform that spans mining, fuel processing and reactor deployment.
4. Milestones and Next Steps
Eagle targets completion of a pre-feasibility study on the Aurora deposit in the second half of 2027 while leveraging Tensor Medium’s simulations to advance reactor design engineering and regulatory licensing pathways.
