Eagle Nuclear Engages Tensor Medium for SMR Optimization, Leverages 32.75M lbs Uranium Deposit
SMR•Eagle Nuclear Energy Corp has engaged Tensor Medium Corporation to support reactor simulation, optimization, quantum development, and licensing-readiness for its small modular reactor program. The company holds 32.75 million pounds indicated and 4.98 million pounds inferred uranium at its Aurora deposit, targeting a pre-feasibility study in H2 2027.
1. Tensor Medium Engagement
The company has contracted Tensor Medium Corporation to provide advanced AI-driven reactor modeling, materials optimization, quantum computing integration and licensing-readiness support for its small modular reactor program.
2. Integrated Nuclear Platform Strategy
Eagle Nuclear is pursuing an integrated platform combining heavy domestic uranium resources with SMR reactor technology to demonstrate a vertically integrated nuclear energy solution, positioning itself for both upstream fuel supply and downstream reactor deployment.
3. Aurora Uranium Deposit
The Aurora deposit in southeastern Oregon contains 32.75 million pounds indicated and 4.98 million pounds inferred uranium resources under an S-K 1300 report, making it the largest conventional uranium deposit in the United States.
4. Pre-feasibility Timeline
Eagle Nuclear targets completion of a pre-feasibility study for its uranium resources in the second half of 2027, which will inform resource development while parallel SMR optimization proceeds toward future licensing applications.
