Eagle Nuclear Secures SLR for 32.75M-lb Uranium Project Permitting

NUCLNUCL

Eagle Nuclear Energy engaged SLR International to lead permitting for its Aurora Uranium Project on the Oregon-Nevada border, targeting FAST-41 fast-track status and a Pre-Feasibility Study by late 2027. The deposit contains 32.75 million pounds of indicated uranium and 4.98 million pounds inferred.

1. Permitting Partnership with SLR International

Eagle Nuclear Energy appointed SLR International as lead permitting manager for its Aurora Uranium Project on the Oregon-Nevada border. SLR’s team has established relationships with the Bureau of Land Management and the Oregon Department of Geology and Mineral Industries, positioning the project for streamlined regulatory engagement.

2. FAST-41 Fast-Track Goal and Timeline

Management is pursuing inclusion in the FAST-41 program to compress environmental review timelines for major infrastructure projects. The company aims to complete all baseline studies and file permit applications in time to deliver a Pre-Feasibility Study by late 2027.

3. Aurora Uranium Resource Profile

The Aurora deposit hosts 32.75 million pounds of indicated uranium and 4.98 million pounds of inferred uranium. Its strategic location and resource scale underpin the project’s potential as a significant new domestic uranium supply.

4. Vertical Integration and Market Positioning

Eagle Nuclear is pairing the Aurora deposit with proprietary small modular reactor technology to build a vertically integrated nuclear energy model. Recent membership in the Uranium Producers of America reinforces its role as a domestic fuel supplier at a time when U.S. reactors import over 95% of their uranium.
