EagleNXT finalized a sale of nine eBee VISION Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance UAS kits to the U.S. Army’s National Training Center at Fort Irwin, California. This order expands the Army’s unmanned training assets and reinforces EagleNXT’s position in defense markets.
2. Drone Specifications
The eBee VISION is a backpack-carried, hand-launched fixed-wing drone weighing 4.1 pounds with a 46.4-inch wingspan. It delivers modular payload options, high-resolution video feed, extended endurance and can be deployed by a single operator in under three minutes for real-time situational awareness.
3. Manufacturing Milestone
These nine kits are the first eBee VISION systems produced at EagleNXT’s new Allen, Texas facility. Earlier this year, two VISION units were delivered to the Joint Mission Readiness Center, marking growing adoption across Army training centers.
4. Role in Army Training
The new eBee VISION kits will support Opposing Force ISR, enhance battlefield realism, and prepare units for contested environments featuring drone swarms, electronic warfare and jamming. Training with these systems expedites soldier proficiency in both deploying UAS and executing counter-UAS tactics.
