Eastport launches 291 sq km gravity survey at Matsitama copper project in Botswana
CRML•Eastport launched a 291-square-kilometer gravity survey over the 30-kilometer Thole-to-Copper Snake copper-in-soil anomaly. Final assays included 110.8 meters at 0.43% copper and 16.0 meters at 0.52% copper.
1. Survey and drill results
The survey at Matsitama targets dense rock units and deeper structures tied to mineralization, with results intended to refine drill targeting across the largely underexplored trend. Final Nakalakwana assays included 110.8 meters at 0.43% copper from 123.6 meters in hole NAKDD25-006; additional drilling returned 16.0 meters at 0.52% copper from 63.3 meters in hole NAKDD26-012. Matsitama spans 1,845 square kilometers across six prospecting licenses, and the company cited more than 20 copper prospects identified in a 2025 NI 43-101 report.
