Eco Wave Power receives Bharat Petroleum order for Mumbai wave energy site study
WAVE•Eco Wave Power received a purchase order from Bharat Petroleum for a site assessment supporting a planned wave energy pilot in Mumbai. The study is due within four months and is the first implementation phase of the companies’ 2025 agreement to explore joint wave energy development in India.
1. Site assessment
The study will evaluate the technical feasibility of a wave energy pilot at Bharat Petroleum’s Marine Oil Terminals at Jawahar Deep in Mumbai. It is due to be completed within four months of the purchase order’s issuance and is the first implementation phase of the companies’ 2025 agreement to explore joint wave energy development in India.
