Ecopetrol calls extraordinary shareholders meeting

Ecopetrol will hold an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting in Bogotá, D.C. on Sept. 15, 2026.

• Shareholders will vote on amending Article 20 of the bylaws covering board composition, renewal, and election rules.
• The meeting will also consider instructing the board to align the board succession policy with the amended bylaw.
• Shareholders are set to elect nine board members for the remainder of the 2025-2029 term using the electoral quotient system.
