Ecovyst includes target annual bonuses in executive severance calculations
ECVT•Ecovyst revised its severance plan effective October 22, 2026, defining executive compensation as base salary plus target annual bonus. Standard severance is 52 weeks for executives and 104 weeks for the CEO; during change-in-control protection, qualifying severance is the greater of standard benefits or 18 months for executives and 30 months for the CEO.
1. Revised severance terms
Ecovyst adopted a revised severance plan effective October 22, 2026, defining executive compensation as base salary plus target annual bonus. Outside the change-in-control protection period, termination without cause or resignation for good reason qualifies executives for 52 weeks’ compensation and the CEO for 104 weeks.
2. Change-in-control protection
The protection period runs from six months before to 24 months after a change in control. During that period, qualifying severance is the greater of standard benefits or 18 months’ compensation for executives and 30 months for the CEO, paid in a lump sum. Executives with individual severance agreements receive whichever provides greater benefits: their agreement or the revised plan.
