Edgewise Therapeutics doses first patient in Phase 2 EDG-15400 HFpEF trial
EWTX•Edgewise Therapeutics dosed the first patient in its Phase 2 EQUINOX-HFpEF trial of EDG-15400 for symptomatic HFpEF. The randomized, placebo-controlled study plans to enroll about 90 adults and test once-daily 25 mg or 50 mg doses for up to 12 weeks.
1. Trial begins
Edgewise Therapeutics has dosed the first patient in its Phase 2 trial of EDG-15400 for symptomatic HFpEF. The study will test whether an oral cardiac sarcomere modulator can improve impaired cardiac relaxation, described as a central driver of HFpEF symptoms.

The randomized, placebo-controlled trial plans to enroll about 90 adults, with participants receiving once-daily 25 mg or 50 mg doses for up to 12 weeks. Trial design details and Phase 1 first-in-human results are scheduled for presentation at HFSA 2026 sessions on Oct. 10 and Oct. 12.
